Entertainment industry set to change

Despite being around for sometime now, the internet is still in its early days, because in many places the data is being transmitted along old copper wiring, some of which have been there for many years. But now there are fibre optics being introduced and this will radically change the face of the internet as we know it.

But with the battle between pirates and the entertainment industry, which covers the copying of CD’s etc, but computers these days come equipped with all of the tools needed to copy music and download films, so it is only natural that some people are going to take advantage of it.

Like any industry it is the consumer who creates the demand, and if there is a demand some enterprising company will come along and supply the products or services, which is where the pirates are stepping in, but somewhere along the line if the pirates and the entertainment industry get together to fill the demands then everyone will be happy, won’t they?
