Man killed on escalator
We have seen this in films where people slide down the hand rail part of an escalator and it looks like fun, however this is not the sort of thing that you should be doing in real life, especially if you have been out drinking etc.
Apparently this happen in the heart of Hollywood at the Hollywood and Highland centre, which is a huge shopping mall complex and even holds the academy awards every year. The man lost his balance and fell several stories down onto the escalator below, and although he was taken to the local hospital, but was dead though head injuries.
This is a terrible lesson on what going and drinking can do to people.
