New transport system at Heathrow
Heathrow is to introduce a personal rapid transport system, which are essentially a pod type vehicle that travel on a monorail type track, eighteen of these pods will ferry the business class passengers who are flying out of terminal five.
This is expected to be completed within two years and will take passengers from their cars to the terminal and check in for their flight with no more than an eighteen second wait, which is great for them, but what about the rest of us?
On a green note the system will produce no emissions and uses half the energy required by a bus transport system.
