England dumped out of Euro

Well it’s all over, all the hype and promises have faded away. The dreams of spending the summer of next year in Austria and Switzerland, waving the flag of St George and sitting around in those pleasant town squares drinking the local brew are now gone.

So what now? Well clearly the manager Steve McClaren will be sacked and the players will be going home to their million pound homes in their new Bentleys and this is probably one of the reasons why they always fail.

But the problem must be with the FA and the people behind the scenes that run the whole football circus; the blame has to be with everyone involved in the game from the management to the players. Maybe it would be better to field a side of previously uncapped players; after all they could not do any worse, could they?

One thing is for sure it is the fans that lose out, they work hard to buy the tickets that enable clubs to pay the huge wages that the players demand, but are they really the best in world?
