IM for leisure and dumping

The exact figure of how many people use Instant Messaging is not really known, but what is known is that it started off as a simple way of communicating while using the internet, however those day are long gone and the simple communications have now become full of adds and marketing material.

However there is another worrying trend that seems to be sweeping the IM services, and that is dumping, not to normal people this would be totally wrong, but the younger generations who use the computer and mobile phones for communicating in a totally different language and indeed a different sense of what is politically correct.

Younger people today have no problems with running their life this way, asking some one out, dumping them and so on its all in days messaging and they seem to be taking it in their stride, or are they?
