Las Vegas Airport gets mobile phone vending machine

As the many visitors to Las Vegas pass through the city’s McCarran airport they are met by the sight of a large mobile phone and in true Las Vegas style they are pumping money into it as if it were a slot machine, yet of course it is not, this is one of the first mobile phone and sim card vending machines.

The biggest selling item at the moment are sim cards, as the user can them make cheaper international phone calls than they could on the regular service providers network, a call to the UK could be as cheap as 1.5 cents per minute, the machines also sell phones and even PDA’s .

The company are planning to expand their machines firstly to other US airports and then onto other international airports including the UK.
