Man saved by iPhone

Some people just love a nice game of golf; this is used as both a leisure activity and of course sometimes to build some valuable business connections. One such man was 53 year old Irwin Koss from New York, having just undergone a serious prostrate operation he was just taking it easy, when suddenly from nowhere he is struck by a golf ball.

Naturally a golf ball travelling at 100 mph hitting someone in the place where they just had an operation is not going to be good. But thankfully he was the proud owner of a new Apple iPhone and not wanting to leave it back at the clubhouse he put it in his pocket and yes it was exactly in the right place to absorb the impact from the golf ball.

So an Apple a day does keep the doctor away!
