Atomic dome may become hotel

When the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) decided to decommission the Dounreay Nuclear Plant, there were many people worried about the radiation etc, but that never happened and in fact the company are now thinking about turning the “Golf Ball” white coloured dome into a an hotel, now wouldn’t that be great, imagine the views.

But naturally there is going to be a major clean up programme set in place, which as we know often takes years to complete. There are millions of pounds going to be spent in the Dounreay Nuclear Plant whatever the chosen course is. Make an interesting hotel though.
