Leisure spending on the rise
The average adult in the UK spends £29 per day on leisure activities. This includes holidays, electronic gadgetry, going out to restaurants, health and beauty products and so on.
These figures came from a study which has also revealed that the average British person spends in total around £10,801 per year, which is quite astonishing. As is the overall national spending total amount which is £496 billion. This is strange because it is hard to see that the average person in the UK, spending over ten thousand pounds a year. Especially when they need to work and have bills to pay.
The average amount spent on a holiday is around £3,674 per year, there are also other amounts which cover home improvements, eating out and socialising.
