Monarch take travel trade award

It was one of those glitzy nights, held in the old market of Billingsgate in London. The cream of the travel industry were there all dressed up with somewhere to go.

One of the most prestigious awards of the night, was the Airline of the Year award. This was won once again by Monarch Airlines.

The awards are judged by a panel of thirty seven people all travel industry experts, the surprise is that not only is it the second year that they have won, it is who they were up against, the likes of Virgin Atlantic and Thomas Cook Airlines, so this is not just one of those made up things, in the industry this is a very impressive award.
