The £2,000 cab fare

This must be a cabbies dream come true, imagine being stopped by a fare who asks take me to Munich! However, this is true a true story even though the cabbie at first thought that the customer was playing a joke on him.

Portsmouth cabbie, Mike Hogan was sitting at the rank when his next fare got in a said that he had missed his flight to a stag weekend and needed to get to Munich, the cabbies said that it would cost around £1,700 plus £250 for the crossing and an overnight stay in a hotel.

The black cab arrived in Munich around seventeen hours later where the passenger met up with his pals and paid the £2,000 bill, he did not need to be taken back home as he could use the return part of his plane ticket.
