The hotel room, which costs £13,000 a night

Spending £13,000 per night on a hotel room may seem a little extreme especially as most people would not even contemplate spending that sort of money on an entire years worth of holidays.

However, clearly, this is no ordinary hotel and probably the guests are not going to be that ordinary either at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai. The hotel, well really it is a resort cost a staggering £800 million to build, sits on its own artificial island, is said to be modelled on the Bahamas.

Nevertheless, this is excess taken to extremes, Dubai is fast becoming the playground of the rich and famous where outsiders can look from a long distance away, but would not be welcome unless they their cheque books could stomach the huge prices demanded.
