Hundred million users on FaceBook

It’s incredible really that a site such as FaceBook can attract so many users, from what started off as a project has grown into a massive empire with over one hundred million users, all of which believe in the potential of such a site.

However, for the people behind FaceBook this membership is a gold mine for marketing and for selling ideas and products to, with so much power does this mean that social networking has gone beyond what it was initially set up for?

Once a network sells out to big corporations, then the whole aspect of that network changes, some people may feel for the better, while others may hate it with a passion. Nevertheless, one thing is for sure the ultimate goal for any network is success, and FaceBook has plenty of that.
