Georgia out of the Olympics

The military action that is taking place in Georgia has gone far enough for the country’s parliament to declare war.

However, with the Olympics in full swing this could have some devastating effects on the outcome of the games in Beijing.

The Georgia Olympic team is around twenty-five string, but before they have had a chance to beat the competition on the field and track, they may be pulled out because of the military attacks by Russia military forces.

With the awesome Russian forces already over the border, there are calls to the international community to help put an end to the bombing and fighting in the southern region of Ossetia.
