Brits prefer nights in

Entertaining at home is fast becoming one of the largest growing sectors of the leisure industry in the UK, according to the Future Foundation they found that over 50% of people in the UK entertain at home a least once a week and that 5% entertain every day!

It is believed that because people are spending more money on home improvements it is only natural that they will be spending more time at home with friends in order to make use of their investment. And this trend is expected to grow by 49%between 2007 and 2020. While spending on home leisure, which includes home entertainment and leisure equipment will also rise around 75% to a massive £100 million by the year 2020.

This growing trend of home entertaining has helped the wine industry too, because by having guests for diner, wine would also be on the menu and would also be brought by the guests.
