Free Wi-Fi in Starbucks

But only the US for now it would seem. Regular visitors to the famous Starbucks coffee houses, will be able to surf the net free of charge in the Starbucks if the buy a Starbucks card, this is one of those cards which the user signs up for and charges up with money.

All the customer needs to do is get the Starbucks card, charge it up with at least $5 and use the card at least once month. By doing this it will qualify the cardholder for the free two hour session on the Starbucks Wi-Fi service.

New cardholder will even get a free cup of coffee, seems like a great idea and it will need to be as Starbucks are really struggling in the states right now. With seven thousand stores in the US alone it has to be a hard job making them pay. Offering a service like this may bring in some customers but maybe the crowds that they need.
