One plane passenger to get a shock

A passenger who arrived at the Narita Airport in Japan will be getting a surprise when they open up their bag, as they will find that they have unwittingly become part of a customs training exercise.

In order to test the sniffer dogs, a customs official placed a small packet of cannabis weighing about 142 grams into the bag of an arriving passenger.

The dog was sent in to find it, but could not. Fair enough the dog probably needs a bit more training! But unfortunately the customs official also forgot where he had placed the package and so there is a passenger with an extra gift in their suitcase.

Lets just hope that they were not passing through and heading for Thailand or somewhere else where the penalty for drug trafficking is severe.
