The hidden underground
For anyone who uses the London Underground whether it is for work or maybe this could be a day trip to the capital, whatever the reason there must have been time when you have seen station that the train passes by, where no passengers ever get on or off, these are the Ghost Stations of the London Underground.
Some of these Ghost Stations include:
Disused Stations on the Deep Level Lines:
Aldwych Station
Hidden Holborn
Down Street
Brompton Road
British Museum
Wood Lane
Bull & Bush
Northern Heights
Vauxhall Cross - From the James Bond film, Die Another Day.
Broadcasting House - For the BBC!
It’s a shame that all of these stations are not open to the public, as it would make a great tour for anyone who is interested in history, London and the underground.
