Into space and beyond

Sir Richard Branson has been outlining the future of commercial space travel as he see it with Virgin Galactic, which could be the first commercial space touring company when they test fly their ship later in the year.

It seems that just orbiting the earth is not going to be good enough, once this has been achieved then people are going to be expected to go even further a field possibly even to the moon!

But this is not going to be just simple sit in a space craft sort of thing, this is going to be just like 2001 A Space Odyssey, with hotels orbiting the planet which would be used as a stop over for the new space tourists who could even take a trip to moon.

This all sounds great but the time frame could an issue, as this sort of thing is exactly going to happen over night!
