No more waiters needed
The Germans pride themselves in being efficient and able to come up with some great ideas, and this one is will go down as the idea that put waiting staff out of job, or so they are hoping.
This is a restaurant that requires no waiting staff at all, everything is done by computer and robots, the owner of the Baggers restaurant in Nuremberg, Michael Mack wanted restaurant that was completely different and this one is certainly that.
Customers take a seat and order their food and drink from a touch screen computer. But in the kitchen the humans make the meal, it is then put in a special container with a colour coded sticker that matches the customers seat, the meal it then delivered on the special rail system that fills the building.
This will save money for the restaurant in staff costs and the customer as they do not have to leave a tip!
