Eco Holidays

The very term eco holiday would appear to be a contradiction, as you would have thought that the only real eco holiday would involve walking or cycling. But it seems for some eco friendly people that would just not do and so they are looking to travel further a field.

So where are these exotic locations that are so green?

Chumbe Island - Zanzibar, Tanzania, Africa

Teniqua Treetops - Near Western Cape, South Africa

Mauna Lani Resort - Kohala Coast, Hawaii

Danzante Eco Resort - Baja, Mexico

Whitepod - Near Les Cerniers, Switzerland

Three Camel Lodge - Gobi Desert, Mongolia

These may be green resorts but have they thought about the air travel and transport to and from the airports?
