Old stars queue up to sue
Like an old ship wreck the looters are out to get as much as they can from the ailing Pirate Bay, it seems that they have steered a wrong course and have now crashed on the rocks. Now the looters in the form of aging pop stars are lining up to get a piece of the action.
The first on the scene was Prince or whatever his name is now, his goal to get some of the revenue streams that the Pirate Bay have been alleged to have been earning, in some estimates it could be as much as $3 million. Along with Prince are the Village People, ABBA and even Van Morrison they all smell the cash flowing and want their share.
But Peter Sunde the head Pirate still claims that the Pirate Bay was earning nowhere near the $3 million per year that the authorities are claiming and in fact the site always makes loss due to the huge bandwidth that it uses up, servers and other equipment.
But for the stars of yesteryear this is still a great opportunity to once get behind the cameras and possibly back on everyone’s play list.
