Man builds race car in house

On these long and dark winter nights, some people find that a hobby helps them get through this somewhat depressing time, hobbies mean that a person gets away from reality and enjoys a short time doing something different, before having to get back to the daily grind.

One man who is a fan of Formula One, has built himself a life size replica of a McLaren F1 racing car in his kitchen, but no doubt he failed to realise that the car would takeover his entire kitchen space.

To make this car, he used 956,000 matchsticks and 1686 tubes of glue, at a cost of six thousand euros. There are no details as to how long the model took to make, but he did have a little foresight when building it as it breaks down into forty five parts.
